I wish to be a different man
The one who weaves a novel plan
The one not so enamoured~
Without the painful awkward reigning
Strains of lustful boastful staining
Crushed mistrustful showman feigning
Shameful taints we’ve hammered
Oh to be that different man!
The one to stand apart–
But there’s a whiddled whisper voice
that coos inside my heart
That says the only reason that I wish to fill this role
Is because inside I’ve all their pride
and the same unruly goal.
