Mishapps

I don’t think people know what happy means…

Cause they call it money and family and fame
and sunny days and rainbows
They call it clothes, cars, beauty and pride
stars and oceans, potions and wives
notions of size, all sorts of surroundings
Maybe this, likely that… it’s really quite confounding

Cause happiness is happiness
It’s not a plum or pear
It’s like saying I just need a nap
So you go and fight a bear
Certainly that would make you tired
You’ll slumber off so deep!
But now you’re dead and mauled. Oh dread!
Why didn’t you just sleep?

Repeating

First you plant
Then you feed
Then you care and share and breed
And once you’ve spread it far and deep

Then you reap
And then you eat

Reap eat. Reap eat
Reap eat. Reap eat

Sow it goes ~ a single seed

Shady Business

It’s like being a shadow

An exploding atomic mass bursts out in psychedelic streams
of raging fire, light and ecstasy

A being stands

Just drenched in a roving trove of super nova galactic
inspiration pouring over

A silhouette against the sun

Beyond it stretches an exaggerated protrusion
A roaming illusion of the being at large
A projection cast upon the earth
To charge a change from birth to death
Drawn as shallow as a breath
That may reflect the larger course
But none-the-less, is not the source

Our lives are but a shadow

A Tight Idol

I like to go fast--
 I guess I'm a racist

And short form sadistic
 Makes me a sadist

A stater of diction:
 A simple dictator

And I cater to hats
 Which makes me a hater

A modest worder that's guilty of murder
With thoughtful effort that comes off as theft
Absolute sureness has made me absurder
And I've always slept in, so inept

Now I'll never claim to finding my fame
By faking the aim of my mind
But a bind made of blunders just isn't the same
As saying I go about blind

Sure I'm naive and often a nob
By the name of my jive and also my job
But a trivial clue isn't true

And the bite that you itch is a son of a bitch
But the yak in your shoe isn't you

So please understand-- it's the standard of wonder
To understate blindness and call it a blunder
Then find it was destiny's hand

For being destitute and tiny may cause us to stumble
But to fumble through hell is how we get humble
And standing your ground can be grand

So listen to the glow as it glistens
Through that damn outer debt they call doubt
Insults and derision are hurtful incisions
But visions of misery give us our missions
And fighting's what life is-- a bout.

Heartening

I know you’re going through a lot
I know it’s hard to take
I know I know you wanna grow
but all you do is ache

I know this world is heavy set
I know it hurts your bones
But know that you’re not finished yet
And know… you’re not alone

You’re here because you care so much
You’ll go through all you need
To be that rare and loving soul
Who crushes through a heart of coal
To diamond shine succeed

You are a mystic~*
And the world is your womb
Of blindness, mindless cryptic growth
In oh so little room

And you won’t understand
You won’t understand
The hands in your life
And the things they have planned
Cause you haven’t the vantage to see

But you might understand that we come for the scars~
That healing’s the purpose of all of the spars
That the deeper the darkness, the brighter the stars
And the vaster expanse that is freed

Relinquish

And the winds of a land that my eyes never see
Open the womb of the world unto me

And I dazzle and bliss at the bringing of this
As the ringing of stories we all tend to miss
Come singing their songs in the dawn of a Gaia
Spreading her arms like a golden messiah
Weeping now, lost in embrace

And every last atom within me shakes free
And the rattle of breath is the last thing I see
As the wind of my soul sweeps full and unknown
Through the curtainous veil of this planet I’ve grown

And I’m shown what I’m certain’s a polar eclipse
Of my solar and lunar patroller ellipses
In magnet possession, when everything flips
And my destiny falls like a stone

Crashing the skies in a comet aurora
Flash in the flush of a pheromone flora
Last is the crush in the deep of my bones
As the reign of Gomorrah is felled

Now rise of the ash like a specter of fate
Eyes in the flash of a spirit awoken
Soar with the nectar that pours out of hate
Like honey of a hive that’s been broken

You are the wind of the life that you free
You are the song in the nature that flies
You’re only as loved as you’re willing to be
Open the breath of your skies ~ *

I met this girl…

And I don’t wanna say that my world went and whirled-ed
Or I hurled up the papers I thought were my job
and all that I worked for seemed homeless and bunk

I don’t wanna say that she’s rare as a mystic set
watercrest opal twilight autumn-dressed goddess-blessing
pressed upon my heart caressing every part she’s still undressing
Shining in my arms~*

And I don’t wanna say
That somewhere there might be a way
To love and still be free

It seems like my doors have all been unlocked…
So why does she feel like a key?

Pschysm

Good day, ya fine wreck!
Well ain’t you just been blown to heck!

Look at you, you cosmic prism
Heart all locked up in a schism
Mind all closed up like a prison
Ain’t you just a piece of art!

Just bursting like a hive of bees!
With all this manic canned unease
Unmanned reactions, warring factions
Storing more and more in
glory’s holy story pouring out in dismal actions!

Well ain’t you just a human being…
Built with eyes, but not forseeing

And ain’t you just the coming age
of sadness, madness, lust and rage

Yes, ain’t you just a tiny cage
to hold the Beast called Life…

Living on the turning page
of a book you unknowingly write.

Clearly

Thinking happens quietly
Not in words and rambles
Spewing like a knotted growth of tangled vines and brambles

Forest walls of any size will always block the view
Thinking should be clear blue skies that help us see right through

But days we find we’re wandering
Through all that old growth pondering
Lost in dark and twisting paths
of branching thoughts in plots of massive
tangled knots we take in passive
nods of all we’re squandering

Yet sometimes the breeze
In the canopy trees
Makes holes in the ceiling we knew
And a pillar of light
Of clear, simple sight
Comes shining down out of the blue

And we stand in this silence
Looking up at this hole
As this beacon of light seems to shine on our soul
And it melts all the brambles away
And we see that the simplest way out of the trees
Is to follow the lightness of day

Thinking isn’t all these words
We circle in our tangled minds
It’s clearing all the growth away
So the truth can simply shine~~*

A Brand New Disaster

Every single day is a brand new disaster

I don’t care what you learn, or master, or burn
You can stare at the sun, or take it in turn
Or make it your wrenching unquenchable light!
The very next day is the very same sight~

You’re nothing, you’re empty, you’re shapeless, you’re plaster
Every day that you wake is a brand new disaster

Maybe you’re wiser, or faster, or famous
Maybe you lost it, or caused it so heinous
you’ve crossed to a darkness as bleak as you’ve seen

The next day’s the start of a new magic been.

There are stalks to be climbed
Giants to slay
Gooses to loose in a golden new day
Cows to be traded
Kingdoms to fall

And despite what you’ve conquered…
It’s the end of it all.

Today is your day
I don’t care who you are
A sunken wet pebble
Or bright burning star

You’re only as far and as deep as you’ve gone
In the footsteps you’ve crept on your path since the dawn

Cloak n Blade

You can Burn in the Sun at the Turn of the Blade
Or Mimic the Moon in the Cloak of Persuasion

Between all the memes of your myriad dreams
is the home of your destiny-nation

Treasure only comes from the heart of adventure
And venture only adds to the pleasure of heart

The end may endear in its endless endeavour
But nothing can startle the start

Open wide world! Unfathom your fogs!
Your crushing salt oceans and fallen dark logs!
Feed me your potions of wisdom and kingdom and chisel my wandering way

Teach me to reach for the visions that boom
To swell in my dream unafraid

A Word to the Wise

The Bison of Wisdom is a hoax!

Do you not understand?

It’s daggers in cloaks!

They’re beggars in bronze !

They’re hair-triggers rigged in the glare of their Biggers

in a figure-formation of pawns!

The Bison of Wisdom is the Lies in the system!

It’s the guise of the piston that drives us to drones!

Only
the Tuna of Tambourine Dreams~*

The Devil’s Quarter

It’s the devil in red
And he’s gone to your head
And all of your whores are being taken to bed
He don’t want you doting in duty, or dead
It’s the devil in red that’s inside you
Look on the faces of family and friends
Look on the wake of your forthcoming ends
Look beyond bends to the course of the road
And the force that you need to keep going
See that the stream has been damned up ahead
And the waters that rise are the ones that you fed
And your nature is drowning, it’s drowning instead
Of flowing it’s course undivided
A messenger came, and you pushed it away
We shone on your face with the light of the day
We’ve given you every which hope that you pray
And you’ve turned it away now instead
The chaos that drowns
The days that unbound you
The misery creeping unchained
The hate that’s as silent as all you withhold
Is the fibre of fate that you feigned
See how the fires combust in your fusion
Of atoms that roar in a cage of delusion
And soar through the skies of projected illusion
To reign down in fire and ash
To stain all untiring in veins of desiring
the gains of empire and cash
There’s a devil inside you
…and you won’t let him free
And free is the thing that we all need to be
Free of these limits, free of this pain
Free of this burden of body and brain
Free as the wind when you open the door
and it soars past your face in refrain
It isn’t the spirit inside of the walls
It’s the walls that help spirits to hold
It isn’t the curse of a rotten new day
It’s the holding of all of the old
It isn’t the horse that is too weak to carry
It’s the fact that you stacked it too high
It’s the fact that you dammed up the head of the stream
And now nothing at all can get by
Start getting holy
Piercing with holes
Let go the floodgates of all of your roles
Open your soul to the light of the day
Open the coals in your hearth made of clay
Broken are those who aren’t broken away
By the might of the constant undoing
Holding the mold of their past in the role
of a fountain that’s never renewing
There’s a devil inside you
And it’s all dressed in red
Red as the lips of the whores in your bed
that you haven’t yet led to the door
For the devil is never the way of the world:
It’s the way of the world we ignore

*~ Sunshines and Stardust ~*

Just know that the sun finds its home in your heart
And the world is reflecting your love as an art
And even the end of your stores is the start
Of the core of your heart in its shining~*

And the world can be testing
And the world can be hard
And the world can be festering, lessened and scarred
But even when deepest, the darkness is starred *
And the heart of the mountain's worth mining

So dance with me darling
 Dance in the dark
May the skies shine with their faraway sparks
May we now mine into love as an art
In heart of the cosmic divining

Not the End

The oceans shall rise and fall and rise
The moon shall swim across the skies
The sun shall glide on magnet ties
Upon the cosmic tide

And all will ride its course again
To tend what wills the gods may bend
So know my friend, as worlds go by
And stars pretend across the sky
And endless depths of heavens sigh
their breath upon the wind
Know in beds of what may lie
That this is not the end

No creature burned shall not unfold
The seed to turn another old
No ocean poured upon the sky
Shall not in weeping love re-lie
No star upon its final burn
Shall not churn dust, and thus return
To which the mysteries upheld
Have downward thrust in trust our weld

And even now, in minor plays
Of all the world’s entwining ways
Shall there be end to setting days
That don’t return again

So be not mad or sad of eyes
To sundered halves and wondered whys
Of thundered paths to tender lives
That fall upon their end

Tis but a bend within a path
Round which cannot be seen
Through forest halls of falling trees
That birth to other green

Tis but an earth that turns upon
An axis born of dusk and dawn
To face again a place that’s gone to dark with different light

Oh humble dream of crumbled plots
To mirror paths of cosmonauts on magnet tide
Who pass unto the other side to twirl and spin again
In ever-stretching etching ways
Of all our long forgotten days
That can’t forget the way it stays the same as we intend

So know my friend, as worlds go by
And stars pretend across the sky
And endless depths of heavens sigh
their breath upon the wind
Know in beds of what may lie
This is not the end.

Mimes of the Times

You look to the heavens
You look to the trees
You look to the winds on the breath of the seas
You look to the books and the crooks and the odds
To the mimes of the times and the signs of the Gods
But in all that will be, and in all that has been
If you’re looking outward, who’s looking in?
Have you stared the brink of stars that twinkle far within your bones?
Or known the tribes of dancing vibes that humble even stones?
Ever felt the airy pelt of wind that melts upon your tongue
And followed its breeze to capillary trees taken root upon your lung?
Do you know what it is to twinkle and fizz
In the tingling death of your cells?
Or break through the orders of natural borders
To find you’re an ocean of swells?
Have you ever felt God in a mind that’s gone dim
And without any proof, been certain it’s him?
Do you fear such a jarring perception?
Have you blamed all the world for the pains it unfurled
…and then found it was just your reflection?
What if the sum of all that you do
Is the hum of a song in a language you knew
In a tongue that you’ve all but forgotten
And every last word of that song still rings true
Even if all your notes have gone rotten…
We look to the books and the crooks and the odds
To the mimes of the times and the signs of the Gods in the climes of aversion and doubt
Consistently seeking the world that’s within
And constantly living without

Undercover

Open your mind….

With gentle hands crack the hive
of the buzzing minds you’ve still alive
as pistol-whip swarms rip crystal grip storms
tripping blazing swerves in lazy words that always sting

And then a crazy thing…

All the bees have gone away
There’s honey in your hands
And smooth as balm upon your open palms you calmly stand.

Open your heart…

Like broken glass that glints in shattered fractals of humbling light

And as the fractures of reflection
burst in slicing shards
And all the hands that play your fate
are waiting for their cards
The broken sights of shattered lights
all glint like little stars…

And somehow there’s peace
Somehow there’s silence, and then a release
As all of the violence that’s stored in our cells
Unpours in a swelling of love that propels
Our worlds into welling in pearls of untelling wisdom.

Open your soul
Open your eyes
Open the role that you came to disguise
in the goal that you’d one day discover

What on this earth makes an old soul go wise
After lifetimes of under the cover

Crystal Caves

The mystical caves of crystal in Conker
The mouth of the demon holds wide
The physical realm is a quizzical saunter
 through whimsical triggers we hide

Swallow the water that pours of the eyes
Fall to the shadows that croon
Sing to the lord in the land of the lies
in the cream opal voice of the moon

Deep in the darkness
Steep are the the fangs
Lost to the cost of the forms that we frame
Creeping in cactals
Seeping our pores
When bright shiny fractals of crystals unstore in the ore of our youth
Florals in sauna
Aurorial fauna
The feast of ambrosia that praises the ages unpouring the shores of our truth

Lay down untelling
Your borders are swelling
You’re smelling the secrets you store
Dive in the depth of your mythical self:
The weatlh of the wages we war

Unintact

In the malignant corners of former lives
Where fungus festers hauntingly
And all the wisdom still survives
That led us on unanswered…

The shadow cauldron stirs in crimson
Phantoms twist in mystic form
All the cosmos comes unhidden
Spinning in a storm

Wretch and frenzy stretching empty etchings into flimsy space
Wit and wimsy skipping stencils over mental pander angles firmly uninplace

What does it mean, this mindless old banter?
What is the secret it holds?

None but the goals of the roles that direct us
Here lies the nexus of magnum complexus
Refraction impacting the light that projects us
Upon the embankment of souls that inject us
Into the mythic unanswered
