Precarious, inventious
Invariably preparable
Unbearably pretentious

Imperviously unnervous dishing
Garish as parrishing, perishing

Piercing as incisionance

Vanatee

Oh Vanity
You monstrous manatee swimming though the depths of my conciousness
Devouring the silver fish of pure thoughts
Replacing them with gastric belches

How silently you maneuver these waters
Invisible to peering eyes
Until you break the surface with your bulbus bulges
And grotesque contorting face

How evasively you skirt my hunting patrols
Circling these sees with silencing harpoon guns
That always seem to fire too late

I sense you there, lurking within me
Waiting for your next chance to erupt
Waiting for the next school of thought to swim haplessly by
Waiting to impress your silly face upon my own
in a whiskered portrayal of useless behaviour

I’m onto you like Ahab
But without the failing crutch of murder
oh no~
I aim to set you free

The Cult of Abeses

A bountiful conformer desperately enters
Forays gone hampered in jovial kin lenders

Many nod ostrichly, pandering quintessence
Revealing superstentiously their uber vacuumessence

When existential yowling zealots approach behind constricting
Defiantly entangling for going home instinctly

Jostled, kicked, lampooned, marooned near ocean panoramas
Quivering rambunctiously,  supporting tempermanners

Ultimately vindicated
Wastefully extinguished
Yearning zenith aptitude
But callously deminished

~ * ~

Every finished game, however
is just killing minutes nearing
Other potent quests resuming
Secret treasureteering

The Great Rearranger

Over the hills and out to the seas
Where the islands are statues that blow in the breeze
With old flowing haircuts of cloud forest trees
That’s where there be monsters

Pack light
Face lined
If you’ve a past, leave it behind
We’re going to go where the future is blind
We’re going to the land that wanders

And if you’ve not virtue
And if you’ve not purpose
And if you’ve not knowing of whether it’s worthless
to battle or rattle your bones
Be ready to change your beliefs on a whim~
For we go to the land of unknowns

Fear-it’s go in
Spirits come out
Gods are found peering in shadows of doubt
And even a whimper belongs as a shout
In the land of the hammering haunters

I give you my ring
I give you my key
I give you the things that I’ll never need
I give you my living so I may be freed
to a land that spans
with all that’s at hand
on the arm of the great undoing
I give no assurance that it shall be grand
Plentiful, bounded or fewing

We go with no reason
No heartache, nor treason
We go in the season of change
We go with no knowing of safety or danger
No sharing of lust in the noble or stranger
We go on the gust of the great rearranger
We go to a land rearranged

Golden Roads

Beholden the golden old roads that we follow
Twined between tree trunks now rotten and hollow
In a forest we built in an age when the sages
Stood upon stilts and knew how to turn pages

But today the old books got the looks of the warring
Torn in the corners and dusty from storing.
And the language it spells isn’t known anymore
~It’s so hard to tell what the pictures are for

And beholden a time when the tune that they knew
Will pour from the twines of the forest they grew
Rung through the roots, and sung from the branchers
Hung in the fruits that they seeded with answers
To dance in a canter of caroling chorus
…as soon as we care about faring a forest

For these days it all seems
Like those crazy old dreams
Were the rantings of humans ungrown

As we race to the shelves
Just to poison ourselves
Unballing what calling our home

Beholden the olden-day molds that we hollow
To fill with a pill getting too big to swallow
Watch as we wither of wanting and wallow~
The wandered old loads of the roads that we follow

Away, Away

Away, Away
  and back again
Through unknown days
  and rays that bend
Away, Away
  through thick and thin
For I’ve no other way

The world spans wicked thicket marshes
Moutains tall as ten-day marches
Fields and fields of golden starches
Out beyond these walls

And there be skies that dance with dreams
And there be thoughts that pour with streams
And there be lands that pop the seams
Of all we’ve ever known

We’re all alone, I’ve come to see
In terms of what we’re going to be
And we can catch what others free
And say that it’s our own

Or we can stand alone and say
Perhaps it’s time…
Away, Away!

For there’s a world that’s calling me
And if I’ve not the mind to heed
Then how to say that I am freed
Of all that holds me back?

Away, Away
  sweet comforts worn!
Away, Away
  I must be torn!
To find a way to be reborn
A way, time and again

And true, I will return my friend
I simply need the time
To dive into the deeper end
Of what I have in mind

For there’s a world inside of me
that needs to be explored

Away, Away ~ I say again
It cannot be ignored

Gross

There’s a swamp here
A clustered, stagnant, slimy swamp
With muck at the bottom
And reeds toiling through brown, smelly water

And the creek that feeds it is crystal
And the sky above it is blue
And the birds in the air
Often come here to roost
In the the cluster, the fluster, the goo

And somewhere is a lake with round shiny pebbles
And somewhere is a beach full of sand
And somehwere is a river that rings out in trebles
Singing its way through the land

And I stare at the nettle weeds
The algaes, the skippers
The insects that frenzy
The tadpoles and grippers
That slip in and out of the slime

And see the creek’s clearer
The river’s sublime
The lake is a mirror
And the beach is divine

But the swamp, with its festers and nesters is rife

The swamp, with its creatures
Its breedings
Is Life

Guardener

Somewhere, there are the hands of a horticulturist
Pruning branches with mangled ends
And others that don’t stimulate growth

The plants suffer and must heal
But later they may understand
It made them healthier, fuller

While others yet may see
That by growing in healthy directions sooner
They can avoid much of the pruning

Dive In

Crack me alive
Snap vigor inside me
Thrive

Grip staples of spiked reality
And crush it open with a ripened fist

aaaah….

Hello you old doll

You plum trigger of levity
gushing flagrant strips of conciousness

I remember your sense of tottering on the cusp
Looming like a shadow over eternity’s chasm of the unknown

Stretching outward into the moment whirlwinding around me
in a lush ballet of cavorting omnipotence

Flush the blood out my pores in a reeking nectar of aliveness
that ushers the doorways to your infinity

Welcome back you slugger of freshness
I imagine some people call you divinity

Fury us

Put the rancor in the bank and stank it with the kanker
Blank the gangly anchor shank
And tank the cranky anger

Fester it with blister fists
And christen it with gore

If fury doesn’t fix this thing…
We’re gonna give it more

Part a cull

Get in here you cosmic novelty!
Unbutton your shoes!

Embrace the evanescence of existence with me a while…

And thanks for all the energy nuggets you’re spooning
They`re implorious!

May I take your coat
of arms
that grapple turgent holds of reality?

Very omnipitating, I like it
Quite the persistence you`re weaving there

Now let’s get down to chunken hunkers.
This dream particle we found–
I vote we pickle it

Droplets of Dreamtime

Droplets of dreamtime
    drip through the scene
Of greenery flush
    in a gushing sunbeam

Pollen puffs pim piffelly
Licked by the pedal-born tongues
Crushed by the knowledge that stiffly
Is rushed into clustering lungs

Sung to the chorus
    of foresting flyers
Rung to the tips of the trees
Danced on forever by nimble-toed tyers
Who loop tumble-oo’s on the breeze

Lost in a furlough
    of curled inner dwelling
Swelled with the hope of release
Droplets of dreamtime
    drip through the ceiling
Like sun dripping down through the trees

Let’s Collab

Gather ye friends, folks and people unknown
Let’s look at the truth of our consumate home

The rules are outdated
The practices strange
They may have worked once
But it’s time for a change

The shadow of ignorance
The binding of might
The burden of obstacles
And lacking of light

All has been lifted
We stand on the cliff
Of a world that has shifted
And turned into myth

So let’s come together
And tether as peers
To decide what is wise
For the coming of years

Reasoning

That’s fine!
It’s not like I need to rhyme
Not like I do it all of the time
It’s no big deal…
I can do something so-called “Real”
Without the patter
I’ll just up and get right atter
Here I go
Here it is…
Bing bang boom!
Golly whiz
I…
I…
I dunno.
It’s like a sign post that leads me along
Shows me where the next turn goes
It’s like I’m in this mad forest of “I can go anywhere!”
But that’s too much
The thought alone of the limitless possibilities
Makes me just sit there, numb-founded
Unsure which is best
Which I should choose
Stuck

So I restrict myself
I say I can go any direction I want
So long as it’s towards THAT kind of tree
That way, at least I have a route
An obvious next turn
Even if I have no idea where it’s going
Or what I might encounter
Or where I’ll end up

It gives me direction
To explore open spaces, section by section
It gives me a way to keep up the pace
So I’m not standing around, scratching my face
I get out of that place, excitement amounting
At the pure inspiration of newfound surroundings
And the crowning confoundments of infinity
Cause I don’t need to worry about which ones I’ll see

It puts it up to the universe
To a far higher mind
Cause frankly, it’s a forest
And while in it, I’m blind

The Plan

Sure sure, I hear you

And of course the chipmunks are innocent
But their fleas are witches

Do you really want a bunch of miniature
spells cast on you?

Plus, it’s only one old grove of walnut trees!

If anything else eats the poison, we’ll just catch it
and stab an antidote into its aorta

Problem solved!

And what’s more, 3 in 5 studies show this place is probably haunted
With the spirits of the last witches we sacrimoniously burned here

And if that doesn’t justify melting it in acetone…
Then what are we doing with all this acetone?

Listen, you’re worried…
I get it!
We’re holding onto some pretty high vibing plutonium right now…
But it’s the best way to ward off bad luck!
Which we really need right now
Cause quite frankly, this stuff’s risky as hell
And if any bad luck comes our way, we’re doomed!

So let’s get back to it!
Trust me, this’ll definitely cure that rash you got
You’re gonna thank me for helping you

Share

So this is where it is
What a curious point in time…
You are sitting over there
And so far, you seem fine
Completely unaware of what is
Nearly soon to happen
I better warn you, just in case

Share

Bubbly

The sweet nectar specters that inoculate are fermentable
Wisely age them in your cask
And cultures will divulge a vastly
Mass of spirits in a flask
That’s intoxicatingly perceptible

Mine

Now perhaps I’m getting ahead of myself
But I’m pretty sure I’m not
Move this mountain over there
And dynamite that spot

We’re gonna need a drill, some acid
And the water in that placid lake
And just in case, burn the forest
There’s lives out here at stake
We don’t wanna have a bear attack
The PR would be a mess
And by the way, here’s a hat
That says that we’re the best

So as I was saying, ultrasonic
Catastrophic frequencies
Will cause the crust to turn to tonic
Then pump it to the seas

And please please please, once we get
A hole that’s moon in size
Don’t you dare go into it!
We’ve got lots of foreign guys

Well not quite foreign, no I guess
They live just over there…
Just don’t you send the guys we brought!
Do you smell that in the air?

God this place is so damn gross
How can they live like this?
Now get me bottled water, snacks
And a place to shit and piss

Then bribe the feds, cause thanks to fear
Their dollar ain’t worth trout—
I get the sense there’s treasure here
And we’re gonna digget out

Appy St. Paddy’s

Happy St. Paddy Cakes
You laddies and lassies
Put on your shamrocks
And raise up your glassies!

Cheers to the years
And a life full of tings
There’s green in d’ beers
And we’re living like kings!

And sure it ain’t close
To what ol’ Paddy Cake did
But the beer then was gross–
I don’t blame him one bit

Strange Sell

I’m going to tell you the world is a mess
And frankly, it’s going to hell
And I will sound smartly
And you’ll be impressed
And we’ll feel it’s going quite well

But I just can’t account
For the startling amount
Of great things that we’ve learned how to do
All I can say
Is we’re smarter each day
And quite frankly, we might make it through

We might make it through
We might make it through
Yes I really do think that we’re gonna get through

I don’t know if that’s thanks unto you
But if it is, then my thanks unto you
I’ve got boxes of thanks here for you
And parcels of thanks here for you
The shipping is $10.95
Please give me $10.95
You owe me $10.95
You likely won’t get out alive
Still waiting on that $10.95
Okay give me your watch and we’re even
Many thanks to you my fine fellow!

Hey you over there in the vest!
Don’t know if you noticed, but this world is a mess
And quite frankly, it’s going to hell
